Castle Pines North Metropolitan District owns and maintains over 14 miles of public trails in our open space corridors. As we move towards spring, we are continuing work on the rehabilitation of broken and damaged sections of the trail system.
The District staff has mapped all of the trail system and has identified some 3,200 linear feet of damaged trails that will result in the eventual phase-out of asphalt trails in favor of more durable concrete. Be on the lookout for trail closures this spring and summer, and please observe all trail closure signs while this work is completed.
