2026 Watering Schedule
Did you know that almost 80% of treated water is used for irrigation?
Help save water by following the District's watering schedule. Outdoor watering is permitted three days a week through September.
- Water waste, including runoff, overspray and leaks, is prohibited.
- Use waterwise methods like cycle and soak. Water 5-10 minutes, followed by 30-60 minutes of absorption. Repeat 2-3 times.

Watering Schedule Exemptions
- Drip irrigation is allowed at any time.
- Hand-watering of trees, shrubs, and gardens are generally allowed, provided a shut-off nozzle is used.
- Irrigation system testing or maintenance is permitted as needed.
- Community sports fields (turf used for organized sports) are exempt: 1) to the extent that additional watering may be needed to maintain a safe playing surface or 2) to establish new or replace turf.
- Residents may water daily for new sod or plant installations. This is a three-week (21 day) exemption.
- Avoid watering between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
- Establishment is not permitted during July or August
