Phyllis  works for CPNMD through a contract through Community Resource Services of Colorado where she serves as Director of Finance and Accounting.  Phyllis took  over CPNMD finances after a challenging transition in district leadership, and  has taken on the considerable challenge of helping to "right the ship" and get us back on track with our accounting and audits. She oversees the creation of the budget, and has handled many challenges along the way,  consistently showing nothing but professionalism, expertise, knowledge, kindness, and grace.   She is absolutely dedicate to making sure that everything is done right, and has a noticeable ability to stay calm in any amount of chaos.

• Extensive and well-rounded background providing over 30 years of accounting, consulting, compliance, audit and financial reporting services to a variety of clients and industries.  
• Expertise in governmental, special district, public company, not for profit and small to large for-profit entities.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP, FASB, GASB and SEC accounting standards.
• Strong leadership, communication and management skills. Demonstrates flexibility and professionalism in demanding, deadline focused environments where accuracy and timeliness are necessary and important.
